It takes a lot of attempts to learn to say NO without any explanation. But a very useful skill to avoid unnecessary tension.

    The ability to say NO where necessary, except where kindness and compassion are need,is very essential.

      I agree. But these days we also see people who exploit one person's act of kindness and compassion and corrupt them or humiliate them or even suppress their good deeds. That is also where one should either show immense level of tolerance or say No from showing excessive kindness and compassion where it is not deserved
