My say... # 113
It takes lot of courage to accept ones mistake and apologize for it. It takes lot more generosity to forgive and accept the person no matter how bad a mistake he has committed

Men always see only the big picture, whereas women particularly emphacise on the details.
My husband would always stress on "don't go for the details, look at the big picture". Today I realized the actual reason behind this. when I asked my husband to bring glasses at the dinner table, he looked around the kitchen, a 360° glance (probably that's called the big picture)rather than specifically look into the cupboard where we normally keep the crockeries. Of course, at that instant, I remembered my dad and bro, for whom my mom and me would search for a lot of stuff that seem invisible to them :p

Denial of identity is when people close their face and you don't see their reply to your smile

My say... # 110
Two common mistakes made by individuals bought up in a conservative society is
1. Not accepting the cultural differences in the world outside their society
2. Judging a person based on his/her appearance, dressing and other physical attributes.

Before you go to sleep, think of all the reasons that made you sad today and release all the tension with a long exhale. Take your time! And now think of all the reasons you were happy for today, wear your big smile, close your eyes and take a deep breath in your own relaxing pace. I bet you'll get a sleep as wonderful as you feel.

Unrestrained dominating turbulent emotions about the world and its odds, refrains man from appreciating its contrary, and hence not revealing the poet in him
My say... # 107
People who self impose a lot of existing and non-existing religious restrictions and also force it on others, are the last kind, one should encounter in life, when on an urge to follow and fulfill one's dreams

My say... # 106
Not my say, but feels so true.
When you are the victim of depression, not only do you feel utterly helpless and abandoned by the world, you also know that very few people can understand, or even begin to believe, that life can be this painful. - by writer/poet, Giles Andreae.

My say... # 105
Some people have made me realize that when they are in a deep shit they are capable of making anybody feel miserable.
My say... # 104
Don't feel bad when somebody envies you. Feel good about it, because this person is trying hard to be like you.
My say... # 103
For some people, with age grows even ego. To such an extent that, their ego gives them the wisdom with which they dream of making the world work the way they want to, not realizing the constant change.

My say... # 102
Appreciate a person for his newly developed talent in life, no matter how silly it might be or at what age he might have developed it at. Those little words of encouragement will not only motivate him to improve in this new art, but also strengthen his interests and self esteem in the other things he does in life.

Sugar and fat in junk food is as bad to anybody, as sex and violence is for a young kid.

My say... # 100
People and situations are two things which make me realize a lot of things, every passing day. One thing that I realize over and over is that people never really grow up, they just learn to act when situations arise.
My 100th say is a special one, for I look back to the day I started this blog, going through the old quotations I made, may it be out of observation, experience or a result of my day dreaming, I laugh for myself, how situations have changed my thinking, every day passed by teaching me something new; yet there are these sayings i agree upon even after seven long years. I hope I continue writing on this blog no matter how busier life gets.

My say... # 99
When I see good things and bad things in a person, (when asked, by other people about him) I only talk about the good I have seen, because people carry a word about what I say about him, rather than knowing the person in real.

Do people really have to be so frank that they make an already uncomfortable person feel even more out of place?

My say... # 96
It is okay for a person or his loved one to boast about him once in a while. If this person always maintains a low profile, how will others even know what he is good at?
